1.1 Safety Policy Statement
It is the policy of Maria Auxiliatrix Primary School to comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and all other related and relevant legislation, Regulations and Codes of practice and to ensure in so far as reasonably practicable the safety health and welfare of all its employees while at work and its students.
The safety, health and welfare of all contract workers and visitors to the school are of equal importance. We require that all contract workers and visitors co-operate with the school to ensure a safe working environment for all.
The school aims to achieve a safe place of work by providing

Maria Auxiliatrix welcomes and encourages any suggestions or ideas that will improve the safety, health and welfare of all its employees, students and visitors. We also commit to reviewing this statement on an annual basis to ensure correct compliance with relevant legislation.
This Safety Statement shall be made available to all employees in a language that they can understand. It is the responsibility of all employees to read this document and fully understand its contents.
