Art with Ann McInerney

Today Ann McInerney came to our school and we made Batik patterns. Ann melted the wax in a gas heater and we painted designs on the cotton with the wax. We then dipped the cotton in the dye. When they are finished the dye will only show on the pieces with no wax. We will display them in the school for everyone to see.
