It was with great excitement and a sense of sadness too that the sixth class girls and their teachers gathered in Our Lady of the Rosary Church there to be joined by parents and friends. With songs and reflections they expressed their farewells, thanks and dreams. Each girl was presented with a “Memory Book” full of photos we don’t doubt they will return to this book again and again over the years and will remember many a tale.
We returned to the school for teas, coffees and treats – the biggest surprise of all was a “Photobooth” organised by the Parents Association. Many unique, funny and memorable photos were taken.
It was a lovely evening and a fitting ending for a group of girls who have been both a gift and a joy to our school.
